Share God's Love Through Caroling

Caroling celebrates the birth of Christ!

It is a family friendly, group bonding activity that creates memories and shares the Good News in a beautiful way. All it takes is for you to choose to form a caroling group.

How to Form a Caroling Group

Every caroling group starts with a leader who is willing to invite family, friends, neighbors, church members, colleagues, youth groups, employers or senior groups to join them.

No singing skills are required.....No practice or rehearsals are needed...

Start by pickup free copies of the Christmas Blue Pages (or download) for each member of your group.

Set a time to meet

Decide where you want to go and sing

Plan on 60 to 120 minutes of caroling

Don't make this complex

Just get together and sing!

Caroling Recomendations

The following recommendations will help you to have a successful and safe caroling experience:

  • Form a group of 7-20 people
  • Start your effort with a prayer for the people to whom you'll be singing
  • Start singing around 7 PM - End the caroling by 9 PM
  • Stay together as you walk through a neighborhood
  • Stand 10-20 feet away from the front door of the residence. Don't crowd onto the front porch.
  • Identify one person to ring the doorbell after the caroling group is in place
  • When the door is opened, sing one to two songs When finished, say "Merry Christmas". As you are leaving, sing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas."
  • Offer a copy of the Christmas Blue Pages to the homeowner, nursing home residents, or business patrons
  • Do not enter the home (when neighborhood caroling)
  • Do not accept any donations
  • Bring Flashlights!!
