Join us on December 9th for this Christ Centered Event!
In one evening (Dec. 9th), gather your own group and join carolers throughout Greater Cincinnati in sharing the joy and celebration of Christ's birth through word and song.
This volunteer-based, citywide Christmas caroling outreach begins at 7pm and should end no later that 9pm.
It's easy, fun, and open to anyone who has a heart to bless others at Christmas time.
How You Can Participate
First, before the day of the event, pick up free copies of our Christmas Blue Pages at local Christian Bookstores, retail locations, churches, and at any of the 9 Cincinnati and N Kentucky Busken Bakery stores (except downtown).
Then review our Recommendations for Caroling to help guide you and get the most out of your caroling effort.
Assemble a caroling group comprised of 7 (minimum recommendation) or more people (20 max). This could include friends from your home fellowship or youth group at church, family members, neighbors or colleagues from work. Determine where you’d like to go caroling. Your caroling group can choose to:
- Jump start your caroling by visiting one of the Busken Bake
ry locations to enjoy a complimentary Busken treat (on Dec. 9th only, from 6:30-7:30 pm), then head out caroling. - Gather at your home for caroling in your neighborhood.
- Meet first at your church for outreach to the surrounding neighborhood, or visit a nearby grocery store, restaurant or shopping mall (prior permission from mall recommended), and bless their customers with caroling.
- Assemble at a local nursing home, then share the Read-Aloud Christmas story or simply sing carols with the residents (prior permission from activities coordinator recommended).
- After the event, visit the Christian Blue Pages on Facebook and share your caroling experience and photos!
Help Us Get The Word Out!
Download a copy of the Carol Cincinnati 2011 flyer. Print a copy and post it at your church, and tell others to visit www.CarolCincinnati.com. Our resources make it easy for your church to incorporate caroling into their Christmas celebration plans.
Extend the Celebration!
Even if you are not available on December 9th, we encourage you to go caroling sometime during the Christmas season.
Caroling is a family friendly, group bonding activity that creates memories and shares the Good News in a beautiful way. Many people have told us that their experience at Carol Cincinnati 2010 was awesome! Have a wonderful Christmas, and may God bless you!
